The person you miss the most

Dear Aunt Fran,

I know I already wrote one letter to you, but I miss you the most. I wish I could just call you at 516-764-0379. Sometimes I would call our old number just to see if anyone picks up. Too bad you can't call heaven.

Love and miss you,

Victoria

Dilema

So I bought Kelly Clarkson tickets because I love her and I am SUPER excited!! But it just happens to be the day of my sons first birthday party. I wouldn't have to leave the party early, but I would have to go straight after and then I couldn't go home and open presents with him. We could always wait until tomorrow to open presents. Not like he would know anyway, but I kinda feel like a bad mom if I go. Hmmmm....what to do? What to do?

Someone you’ve drifted away from

Dear Lisa,

I know we weren't always the closest of friends and that you were more Deb's friend then mine, but I miss hanging out with you. We have known each other since we were little kids and whenever I went to hang out with Debbie in Lindenhurst, you would always be there and hang out time. There were even times when we were older that you would come to Oceanside and hang out without Deb. We had some really fun times. I know we have grown older and have completely different lives and friends now. Well, my friends are basically the same because I don't like making new ones. But you have this great boyfriend, that I barley know, that you just moved in with and I feel like I missed a big part of your life and its weird because we were always in each others lives. I know a lot of it is my fault because I don't like to go out and do things. I would rather stay home alone and watch a movie. And now that I have a kid, its even harder to get out to do things. But there is nothing stopping me from having dinner or lunch one day. So now I will make a conscious effort to keep in touch with you and all the people that I haven't seen and miss. Love you lee lee la lee lee leeeee.

Love,

Vicky

Dear anyone who is mad at me,

If I did something to you in the past and you still hate me for it, I apologize. I was an asshole. Sorry for hurting you.

A deceased person you wish you could talk to

Dear Aunt Fran,

There is so much I want to tell you, but I'm sure you already know because I know you watch over me. I wish so badly that you could meet TJ. You would love him and he would love you. I miss you the most around the holidays. Especially Christmas. I would wake you up really early, before you would even get dressed, and make you come down and open presents. You never complained, no matter how early. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I wish you were at my baby shower and there when TJ was born and for all of his 1st's. I miss you terribly and wish I could just talk to you for a second. Until we meet again.

Love always,

Victoria.

Someone you don't talk to as often as you'd like

Dear Nicole,

With you living in Oklahoma and me living in New York, we don't get to see or talk to each other as often as we like. It hard with having kids and taking care of our families and you working on top of that. But even though we don't talk as often, I feel like we pick up right where we left off. We never skip a beat. Even though I will have to admit I am a little jealous of your friends over there who get to be part of your daily life and get to watch your boys grow up and just get the bits and pieces. I know if there was a way to be closer we would be. I love you and miss you and you will forever be my best friend.

Love always,

Victoria

Someone you wish you could meet.

Dear Grandma Rita,

I never got to meet you because you died when my mom was only six years old. I guess when I was younger I didn't really miss having a grandmother because I had Nana and Aunt Fran. There were times here and there when I wondered what my life would have been like if you were around. I actually probably wouldn't be around, because my moms life would be really different. But I would like the chance to get to meet you for a day and let you meet your great grandson and get to know a little more about you and the things you did while you were alive. Hopefully if there is a place beyond death, I will get to meet you one day. Until then, I will just have to believe you are watching over us with the rest of the family.

Love,

Victoria

Your Favorite Internet Friend

Dear Ashley L,

We met way back when on LiveJournal and then became AIM buddies. We eventually moved over to Myspace and now on Facebook. We have watched each other get married and have babies. And even though we have never met, I still consider you my friend and you are always there to just bullshit too or vent to. Thanks for being an awesome "Internet" friend.

Love,

Victoria C

Your Ex

Dear Bj,

I am so happy you have done something good with your life. You have an beautiful wife and daughter and a family over there that supports you and helps take care of you and your family. That is more than you would ever get back in NY. Be happy for all you have and don't think that you are missing out by not being in NY. You can still come to visit from time to time and you talk to Jason all the time and you get to see everyone on facebook and we all get to see picture of you and your beautiful family. So please don't think for a second you would have had it better living here, or moving back here, because you wouldn't. You have a good job there and house and that's more than what some of us have. So be grateful for what you have and know that you make the best of what you have. No one else can make you as happy as you can.

Love,

Victoria

Foo Fighters. Walk.

A stranger

This one I think is hard. Do I just write a letter to a random person that I've seen before. Or a letter to no one?

Dear Stranger (aka, guy at the train station),

I ran into you on the way to Foo Fighters slurring your words and waiting for me to get change for my ticket and asking if you could have it. I said no, and I would still say no today. You told me that you were trying to see Foo Fighters and that you haven't seen them since 1980 something. Well, if you had any idea what was going on in the world around you, you would know that Foo Fighters was created in 1994, the same year that Kurt Cobain killed himself. You continued to babble on about how you couldn't believe they were still selling out MSG and that you remember their first songs and started humming something that was most definitely not the Foo Fighters. So Mr, I think you should clean your ass up and do something about your life, and if you are trying to get money off people, at least come up with a better story that might actually make people feel sorry for you and give you the lousy dollar coin that they get back as change.

Sincerely,

A cranky bitch, who is actually a Foo Fighters fan.

Never try

You either do it or don't waste your time...

Your dreams

Dear dreams,

If we are talking about sleeping dreams, I have always loved you. You have always been strange and riveting and kept my nights interesting. I have dreams that seemed like full novels. And if we are talking about dreams, as in my personal goals, I have always wanted to write a book. So maybe if my sleeping dreams would coincide with my goal dreams, together a novel can be written and both dreams fulfilled. Hope that one day I can remember enough of my dreams and stay focused enough to achieve an actual dream.

Love,

Victoria

Your Sibling

Dear Deb,

I was an only child up until age 9, when I was told we were sisters.I was excited to have a sister. I loved going to Lindenhurst to hang out with you. I loved growing up and having someone that in a sense was mine. Was part of me. As we got older we found out that we might not actually be sisters, but cousins. It angered me because I didn't want another cousin, I wanted to keep my sister. And no matter what we have been through and how many things we have disagreed on, you will always be my sister and I will always protect you. I love you and I wish we would have stayed closer, but our differences, in a way, have pulled us a part. But no matter what we always come back together at some point. Just know I will always love you and I am always here for you.

Love,
Vic

Your Parents

Dear mom,

You were my only real parent so this letter gets written to you. Thank you for being an awesome mom and always being there for me. I know we didn't get along a lot when I was younger and I expected more and appreciated less. Well now that I am older I appreciate more and expect less. I am thankful that you were my mom and I am glad you didn't have dinner ready at 5pm every night. You did amazing with what you had to work with and I wouldn't trade you for anyone in the world. Thanks for being an amazing mom and an amazing grandmother.

Love always,

Victoria

Joseph Gordon-Levitt singing "Bad Romance" (SitC)

Your Crush

I guess for this one I will have to go with celebrity crush, because I don't have one in real life. I don't even have one that I have a constant crush on. It keeps changing lol. hmmm...

Dear Joseph Gordon-Levitt,

You were cute, but dorky in 3rd Rock from the sun. Now you have grown up to be quite attractive and your voice! ugh! I want to have dirty dirty phone sex with you. I like you better with long hair, you look sexy. But with short hair you look cute, and still doable. I have seen a video of you singing Bad Romance and it was surprisingly HOT!!I recently watched Hesher and its now one of my new favorite movie. So Mr.Gordon-Levitt, keep being sexy.

Love,

Victoria

Best Friend

Dear Nikita,

I wonder if I would be where I am today if it wasn't for you always by my side growing up. You always knew how I was feeling without me ever having to tell you. The definition of "best friend" was created because of you. You are an amazing friend, mother, wife, daughter, sister. If there is ever a day when you feel less than who you are, know that I think the world of you. And even though we only see each other once or twice a year, I know you are always there for me and I am always here for you and I think about you all the time and wish we lived closer. Thank you for being you and being an amazing, wonderful, fantastic friend. You mean more to me than you will ever know. You are forever my Summer Sister.

Love always,
Vixen

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful to for the most amazing boy in my life. My son Thomas Jeffry. A.K.A. T.J. Growing up I never wanted a child, let alone a boy. I said if I were ever to have a child, it would be a girl. The first time I was pregnant in 2008 I miscarried at 16 weeks and when they did the autopsy I found out I was having a girl. That bothered me for a long time, and I was upset when I found out I was having a boy the second time. The first time I saw him I was in shock, I had no words. All I could think was "that is my baby". After 39 weeks of a miserable pregnancy I finally had this amazing child. In the hospital it was all surreal, but once we got home, that was a whole other story. At first I just watched him all night and I slept with the lights on in the room so I could see if he was breathing. I would do everything I could to make sure nothing would happen to my little boy. Then the colic began and tested my sanity every second. He just cried and cried and I cried with him. Then the reflux and projectile vomit. But all the bad times were quickly washed away as soon as he smiled. And as  he gets bigger, he gets more and more amazing. I couldn't ever imagine my life without him. I will see women with little girls here and there and I think about them going to get their hair done and mother daughter dates, and then I realize I don't want any of that. I want to do all the fun things that little boys do and get to buy Batman clothes and hopefully he will want to play football. I am so very thankful for my son and I look forward to all the days of fun and play and hope that they last a lifetime.

ps- I cannot wait for his first Christmas!!! <3

I want your....

SEX!! How do people go months, yet alone weeks, without sex. I guess some people are just comfortable in their relationships. Don't get me wrong, I have my days where I'm like "don't even look at me, let alone touch me". But months! Weeks! Crazy! If I go a week without sex that's long. So here's to Micheal! And yes, I know he was singing about a dude, but he has the right idea.

Thankful Thursday (a day late)

For this weeks thankful Thursday, I am thankful for amazing actresses like Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Galeotti, from which I stole this article from. So here is a little about Sophia Bush and you can also check out her website. And if you want an amazing blog to follow, you can follow BJG here http://www.bjgofficial.com/

________________________________________________________________

1 Were You Named After Anyone? I was named after Sophia Loren. My father is a photographer, and when I was born he was frequently doing photoshoots with her. Both of my parents adore her, and loved her spunk, elegance, and unique femininity. Plus it's a very traditional Italian name. They wanted to honor my heritage, and inspire those qualities in me. I loved hearing as a child that I was named after such a special lady.

2 Do You Like Your Own Handwriting? Actually, I'm not really a fan of my handwriting. My mother has the most gorgeous penmanship I've ever seen, and my writing is more of a chicken scratch. I generally write in all capital letters so that people stand a chance!

3 What Would Your Superpower be if you could choose one? It's a tie for me. I'd love to be able to fly, so that I could get anywhere in an instant, and have a zero carbon footprint when I travel. But I'd also love it if I never had to sleep. Can you imagine what could be done if you could use all 24 hours in every day!?

4 Are you an Optimist or Pessimist?
I am an eternal optimist. So much so that I get incredibly worked up over injustice and inequality. I believe in the good in people and the world. And I really believe that if our youth mobilize to be a force of equality, and a contingency of caring souls, we can truly change the world. I know that is incredibly optimistic, but I believe it down to the core of my being.

5 What do you collect?
I collect vintage cameras. I have a few that are incredibly old, and so beautiful. They're both a nod to my family and to the beauty & panache of Old Hollywood. Movie magic, the inspiration I find in photographs, it all begins with a camera.
6 What movie would your friends be surprised that you like?
The last truly great movie that I saw was Gasland. It's a documentary about how hydraulic fracturing is affecting our environment and our fresh water supply. Although I doubt that surprises anyone!

7 What are your favorite smells?
I love the smell of night blooming jasmine. It was planted in window boxes outside my bedroom as a little girl, and it carried me into my dreams every night. Also, I love the smell of olive oil, and the scent of fresh basil. That's the Italian in me!

8 Coffee or Tea? Both. If I'm drinking coffee, I'll have an Americano, or take it iced. As for tea, green tea in any oolong variation does the trick.

9 Wine or Beer? I love good wine -- again, I'm Italian! -- but I also adore good beer. If I'm drinking red, I always go for Malbec. And if it's a beer night, Shotgun Betty. Stella Artois and Fat Tire rank right up there as well.

10 What is the best thing you've ever eaten? (Where?)
The best thing I've ever eaten is handmade, fresh truffle gnudie at Wine & Roses in New York. It's so incredible that I don't even know how to describe it. It's a like a rainbow exploding in your mouth. Heaven.

11 Mac or PC? Mac. iMiss Steve Jobs.

12 What are you listening to right now?
I'm listening to a lot of Wolf Gang, Editors, Florence + The Machine, Jay Z, Band of Skulls, and Crash Kings lately. And Stevie Wonder. Always Stevie Wonder.

13 What career would you pursue in another life?
I daydream about being Robin to Anderson Cooper's Batman. Traveling the world covering breaking news, visiting frontlines, and of course shooting photographs. And about doing a talk show show like ELLEN. Who knows, one of those things might happen in this lifetime...

14 What sound or noise to you love?
I love the sound of laughter. Real, uncontrollable laughter. And live music.

15 What sound or noise do you hate?
I hate the sound of my alarm clock whenever it goes off before the sun is up. That happens far too often.

16 Mountains or Beach? Mountains. I love the smell of the woods. I love the perspective you get when climbing to a new height, and literally seeing your world from a new vantage point. Mountains that overlook the beach are a bonus.

17 Cook or Bake? I cook a lot. I need to start baking more. My mom makes an incredible raspberry pie, so I have good jumping off point.

18 Do you go to restaurants and movies by yourself?
I do! And I love it. There's something wonderful about enjoying a meal, or a piece of art or entertainment alone. Being silent and relaxing with your own thoughts. I get a lot of my best thinking done in those situations.

19 What is your favorite fairy tale or childhood story?
Goodnight Moon and The Giving Tree are two of my favorite stories from my childhood. They're both beautiful.

20 What would you tell the 13 year old you?
I'd say, "Don't worry about the ones who say you're weird. Who call you names and push you around and try to break you down. They only do it because they're broken. Keep your head up. Shoot for the moon. Believe in the power of your voice and your passion. Don't wait so long to start using your platform for fear that you wont be able to make a difference. You WILL. And girl! Relish, even more, in school. It is a supreme privilege to have your only job in life be to get smarter every day. After all, #SmartIsSexy, and it's the only kind of sexy that lasts."
I've known Sophia closely for almost 10 years and I can honestly say she is one of the lovliest and smartest women I know. She is deeply sensitive and compassionate and an absolute fanatic about defending the undefended. We have laughed & cried together and laughed until we've cried together, gossiped about and to each other, fought with and for each other, sat on rooftops together, watched the sun come up with strong cups of coffee together, said terrible things and beautiful things to each other, borrowed clothes, gone shopping, eaten amazing food, cooked and drank together... and through it all we have survived as the two old broads of One Tree Hill, closer than ever and ready to move on to greener professional pastures.

If you know anything about Sophia, it's hard to miss her passion for all things philanthropic (she is a major advocate for Global Green) and her passion for women's rights (she is currently working on a piece for Marie Claire magazine about the treatment of women in Afghanistan). To find out more about Ms. Bush, your best bet is to visit her WEBSITE, follow her onTWITTER and check her out on IMDB for her latest projects as an actress and director.

Things that annoy me

When someone is following you to a store in a separate car and you park where there are several spots so they can park next to you and then they pull up to a closer spot where there was only one....
